Economics PhD Student
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Development · Gender Inequality · Labor
Welcome! I'm a PhD student in Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My research interests lie in development economics, labor markets, and gender inequality, with a focus on how social norms and institutional constraints shape decision making in low income contexts. I am particularly interested in gender differences in labor market participation, occupational choice, and persistence.
Methodologically, I am interested in experiments, particularly field experiments, informed by behavioral economics to study discrimination, belief formation, and decision making.
Prior to my PhD, I completed a Master of Arts with a Certificate in Research Methods at the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Public Policy at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, graduating with honors in both programs.
